About the Admissions Process

       Our Admission Committee seeks young women who have demonstrated scholastic achievement or the potential for solid academic growth, who enjoy extracurricular activities, who wish to become leaders, and who care about improving their world and their community.
      As a college preparatory school, La Pietra's aim is to teach our students academic and personal skills and to offer the courses needed for entry into a college or university. To request an application form, make your request via e-mail at admissions@lapietra.edu. You may also download and print your own application by clicking the links below, or you may call the Admission Office at (808) 922-2744. You are also welcome to drop by the campus to pick-up an application in the office.
      Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible, as openings in certain grades are limited. Part of the application process includes taking the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), which preferably should be scheduled for the December or January testing dates.

     We encourage you to use our online application process. The required documents (Consent of Release, Teacher Refernces) will be customized with your information. However if you would like to print a blank application as well as the other required documents, you are welcome to do so.

School-in-Session Visits

       La Pietra welcomes school-in-session visits by prospective students who spend the morning attending classes with a student guide. This is independent of the admissions process, and we welcome the opportunity to visit with you and your daughter after the visit. Please call the Admissions Office at (808) 922-2744 to make arrangements for the visit.

Tuition

       For the academic year 2007-2008, tuition for grades 6-12 is $13,675.00. Additional charges include uniforms and books.

Deadlines

       Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible, as openings in certain grades may be limited. La Pietra is on rolling admissions - admission decisions are made on an individual basis as each applicant completes the process.
